SaltFork Turkey Hunts Hunting Regulations

In order to provide the best possible hunting experience and to protect the natural resources of the ranch, the following guidelines have been provided:

    Saltfork Turkey Hunting Regulations

    1. No trash of any kind to be left in the hunting areas. What you take in you must take out!
    2. No smoking on the ranch while hunting, we have extreme fire risk.
    3. Predetermined routes into and out of the hunting areas are to be used to minimize intrusion to roosting areas.
    4. All human waste is to be buried in the sand.
    5. No 4 wheelers will be allowed on the ranch.
    6. Fences are to be crossed by crawling under-do not climb over.
    7. Park vehicles only in areas designated.
    8. If a gate is open, leave it open, and if the gate is closed, leave it closed.
    9. Know your target! We have cattle and they will be expensive and do not have decent beards. Other turkey hunters may shoot back!
    10. Know the location of each member of your hunting party-be safe.
    11. No alcoholic beverages will be allowed in the hunting areas of the ranch at any time. Any alcohol violation will result in the entire hunting group being asked to leave and hunting fees forfeited.
    12. Only shotguns and archery may be used to harvest birds on Saltfork properties.
